i've seen your blog. you are super cute. you are adorable pregnant. and you keep posing with your hands UNDER your belly, which every pregnant woman in the history of childbirth knows is the LEAST natural place for your hands. since the belly makes a nice arm shelf and reaching under to essentially clasp hands feels super weird. we know you're doing it for the looks. i'm not fooled.
i just checked now! i'm working, though. (well, not exactly specifically NOW, but generally).
all pregnant celebrities do this too. i know. i get us weekly.
No, I was talking about Verona! I was just perusing her blog, and I just don't get how she has time to do all these crafts, look so pulled together all the time, shop, blog, have baby showers, etc. And work!
It's going to be fascinating to see what happens after she has her kid.

Yes, all this and she INSTANTLY shows up when her name is called. Verona, you have a Google alert, right?

No need to speak in the third person since she's in the thread, lol.

Verona is a smart, capable, woman. I'm sure that she'll make adjustments to fit her new lifestyle just like anyone else who has a child and continue on with her life.
10 million bucks says regardless of whatever adjustments she has to make, she'll still be fabulous.

Yeah and I'd like to know just whatinthefuck witchcraft you practice that you can clasp your hands under your belly and NOT get lunch-lady-arm-syndrome. Hmmmm?

I'm not saying she isn't, I'm just going to assume some of her priorities will change.

I should know this, but what is lunch lady arm syndrome?
I know! I am curious how it will all work out. A ton of my co-workers have babies and young children and they come in everyday looking all polished and with it, so I'm just going to ask them how they do it and follow suit
I can tell you right now - they either don't sleep or never relax. I need both!
Look who's talking! MsPerfectHair and perfectly dressed matching baby. :-P

Oh, I had the worst lunch lady arms when I was pregnant. I guess it's from swelling? Idk, it's when your upper arms make contact with the rest of your body and they morph into jiggly wings, lol. I barely even had distinguishable shoulders

Well isn't this just lovely of you. Indirectly state that her priorities can't possibly be in the right place bc she likes things that are different than your own interests.
I like to shop, wear makeup and cute clothes, and I take care of and love my kid. It's really not that earth shattering.

Uh. This goes away, right? And ... fast?
Lol, yes, it did for me. I mean, I was swollen like that for the last month or maybe a little more, but then after I had my son it all went back to normal pretty quickly. If it helps, I actually didn't notice the phenomena until I looked at pictures on myself months later.

Something to look forward to I suppose. I'm glad it went back to normal quickly!

Verona I won the Jockey ShapeWear giveaway on your blog and I keep meaning to say thank you but I have to confess that I bought yoga pants, not ShapeWear. They are great yoga pants though so thanks :-).
4 day hair will become 5 day hair, and it will be fabulous and make everyone hate to love you even more.
Truth. I was an e/o day washer (down from everyday), and post-J, I am an every 3rd day washer. Sometimes 4th if it's the weekend. I also don't shave my legs as frequently.
I don't even want to admit how long it's been since I shaved my legs. Long live maxi dresses!

I am currently rocking 4th day hair. Pregnancy made my hair LESS greasy. Praise the Lord!
During pregnancy my hair was never greasy and my leg hair stopped growing. It was a magical time.
@theycalledherkate, I am actually pretty pissed at you... I bought that damn Gabriella Rocha dress, and now I want one in every color. I don't need to be spending $500 on more dresses! *shakes fist

This is my life right now. It is marvelous! I am praying that at least the non greasy hair stays post-baby. The leg hair I can deal with. My hair was pretty good though at staying oil-free before pregnancy, it's just even better now. I feel like God does this so we don't have to bend down to shave and don't have to style our hair as often.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news (but I wish I'd had a head's up) but I totally had hair like yours - I could wash my hair every, oh, four days, and it looked just fine on the fourth day...up until I had kids. I'd heard about how your hair could change but that was so not what I was expecting. Now, if I don't wash it every second day (and, uh, I so don't...and I can tell you there's no training it back - just lots of buns!) it actually looks greasy. I've never had hair that looks greasy.
It was the worst post-pregnancy change, actually. I never appreciated my never-greasy hair enough because I didn't have anything to compare to. Now I miss it SO MUCH!
