I was at MIL's house in a back room with my 5 year old niece. She was hanging out with me while I packed up my bag. DH walked in and I noticed a big stain on the carpet. I said, "good lord, what happened there?" My niece looked at me and said "that girl died there." I was all freaked out. DH got on to her for telling lies because no one has ever died there lol. His mother built the house.
Wasn't there someone here who's kid was seeing bright lights in the corners of rooms that were telling him that he would die if he left the house? And it made him terrified of the sun? That freaked me the hell out.
The kids talking about being here before really creep me out.
Me too. I almost started crying reading those. Holy hell.
I don't think Grady has come up with anything terrifying just yet, though he has said some unsettling things during this deployment. My husband has been away from home for about eight months now. Every once in a while, Grady will say "Daddy is never coming home." Gah. It chills me every time. I realize that, to him, it seems that daddy must never be coming home, since he's been away so long. But damn.
When my friend's 4 y/o daughter was told she had to be good or she'd get coal in her stocking she looked at my friend creepily and said, "well you know what, if you squeeze those hard enough they turn into diamonds. so i'll be as bad as i want."
