2.0 is doing Ok. We keep having to have him checked for jaundice levels and he's not gaining weight despite eating all the time so I'm frustrated. But C is being a great big brother. He gives W kisses and tries to rock him in his bouncer. He's handling the change pretty well.

I hope 2.0 perks up soon. G was a slow gainer, and it was really difficult on me emotionally. Turns out, she was just naturally on the smaller end of the growth chart.

On a somewhat related note, they kept testing my sister for jaundice as a newborn despite my mom trying to explain to them her skin was that color because she was half Asian. She was always negative.

FTR, I will probably always refer to W as 2.0. At least until he has more of a personality to me. I'm on another board where we always call J "Number Six" from a poll I did. Every now and than a newbie thinks she is my sixth child, and it cracks me up! If you'd rather I use his name/initial let me know.

bugandbibs I don't mind you guys calling W 2.0. It's cute!

C was slow to gain weight and had a late peak in jaundice levels so I'm hoping that's the case here. My milk has come in so much faster this time and he seems to latch and suck pretty well so I was surprised at the lack of gain. I'm hoping to go to a bf group tomorrow to do a weighed feed. I'll feel better once I see some numbers.

DH has olive skin and 2.0 has way darker coloring than C so I'm hoping that has something to do with it.

Hey! I haven't been here in a while. Not much is new with me. Still no job, still looking, but dh isn't to worried about it at the moment. I need to find something soon because I hate not financially contributing, even though I take care of all the other stuff around the house.
Baby is doing well. We settled on a name and have started work on cleaning and organizing what will be her room. It's exciting to be able to refer to her as her/she instead of just the baby.

Eleanor Rose.

I'm not really a fan on middle names like Rose, Ann, Marie etc..., but Rose is dh's grandma's name, who died before we even were together.

Eleanor comes from the name of the street my dad grew up on and my grandparents lived until my grandpa died when I was in hs.  I have lots of good memories there.   Although I really like the name, we are technically naming her after a road. At least it's a legit name...

H likes it because he really likes the nickname Ellie.  I'm okay with that, but just wanted to make sure she had a more formal sounding name also.

The stupid app doesn't let you use the gifts you get. I did the level on the computer and beat it in one try (with lots of help from gifts, and even then I got it down to 1 move left). Now I'm waiting for tickets before I can move on.
