Let's talk Mother's Day

I am seriously stumped about what to get my mom this year. Last year we bought her a compost bin.  The year before I bought her some high end make-up she wanted. Everything I have looked at just seemed lame. 

What are you getting your mom?  What are you hoping to get if you are a mom?  What should I get my mom in the under $100 range?  Inspire me people!

I have no ideas on either front. My mom will be in town until the Saturday before so we'll probably do brunch or something then. I might try to do a nice framed photo but it might not happen before the actual day.

I'd like sleep, a massage and pedicure but I don't think any if those will happen right now either

Painted picture frames for all! We have 5 grand/mothers to buy for. It adds up quick. Plus H's bday, graduations, my Mother's Day, and going broke in June. In June we have 4 fathers, H's father's day, both of my parents birthdays, SIL bday, niece's bday, SMIL bday, and my mom's wedding anniversary.

*3 birthdays are on the 27th, my mom's the 22nd, and niece's 20th.

I don't know what I'm getting my mom or my mil. Honestly we will probably just do a card and spend some time with them. I might browse pinterest and see if I can find any diy ideas.
