I've been having some bad left side pain and weird bleeding. Since I just had the ectopic removed (along with my right tube) in March I decided to take a test this morning to calm my nerves that I was NOT pregnant. It was positive. Doctor now suspects either another ectopic in the other side or another early miscarriage. But it's incredibly early so they can't really do much but test my blood and wait. They said its possible that it could be normal, but unlikely with the amount of blood (period-like flow.)
So I know I haven't been part of this board long but I just can't ask for support from my home board right now with all the "normal" pregnancies going on.
I'm just really hating my body and feeling like shit.
You have been through so much crap lately. I hope it's not another ectopic, because while a natural m/c is awful too, at least you will have a chance of avoiding surgery. Hugs to you.

Totally. It's sad that is what I'm hoping for at this point. I just don't want to lose the other tube.
Do you have an ultrasound appointment? My RE (and even my OBGYN) will have someone with a history of ectopics come in immediately to confirm. Whatever happens, I hope it goes as smoothly as it can. You deserve to catch a break somewhere.

Oh Melinda, I am so sorry you are going through this. It seems crazy to type this out but I really hope it is just a normal miscarriage (as opposed to another ectopic of course). Hopefully you'll be able to see your doctor soon. Big hugs to you. I hope you get some good news soon.

My regular obgyn is on vacation and the doc I saw would not do an ultrasound this early. So hopefully they will do one next week when I'm a little further along or my doc is back.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
I'm so sorry. I'm not sure how far along you might be, but when my RE suspected an ectopic (for me it turned out to be a regular miscarriage instead) she sent me to an MFM for a high powered ultrasound. Maybe you could ask about that? I hope it turns out to be normal.
I lurked before I started posting & I've read some of your previous posts - Melinda, I'm thinking good thoughts for you. I really hope everything is ok.
