My 16 year old sister got a Range Rover! It's an 08, but still. It's nicer than any vehicle I've ever had. Oh, and she's the baby in case you hadn't figured that out. I'm not bitter at all lol.
Every time I see your name, I think of that jump rope tune that is something like, "Little Sally Walker was walking down the street" and that is all I know.
I should google it or something. It sucks having a song in your head and not knowing all of the words.
That's where I got the name I'm a cheerleading coach and they do some dancing game to that tune at camp each year.
They are just rated very low by pretty mch every auto expert group or whatever. I don't mean to be critical bc yay for our sister. Maybe your parents got a good deal?
Range Rovers are notorious for looking great but they're shit under the hood. My brother has a 2010, and has already replaced almost everything under the hood. Thank God for the warranty. Also, only certain mechanics work on Range Rovers, so best of luck finding one.
Yea, they will have hell finding someone to work on it, especially where we live. She of course doesn't care or think about any of this. She is all Yay! I'm 16 with a Range Rover lol. And my parents are happy that their baby is happy.
No, seriously they did get a good deal on it and it has really low mileage. She is a lucky girl!

I ran a land rover/jaguar repair shop for about 8 years.
Nice cars.
Haha.
On the real, what a horrible pile of shit. The transmissions and transfer cases are junk, the air ride suspension is real nice, til a 1500 dollar air spring fails. In 2006 or so they switched to a jaguar power plant from the BMW engine, lame. The jag engines would fail In the sedan, then they make it push a 6000lb truck.
The reason they are cheap is because they cost an arm, leg, and first born to repair, trust me, I'm the repair guy. People would be like I got a great deal on this, was only 24k, it was 90k new 2 years ago. There's a reason. JUNK.
All those bells and whistles, fail. And it is not cheap.
Hope she's/your parents are prepared for premium fuel only, and roughly 3-5k a year in maintenance costs.
