Sorry ladies! Congrats to BNL and hugs to Melinda - I hope it all works out!
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey?
2) Anything coming up this week?
3) what book are you reading right now?
1) Got my period this week a week earlier than expected...which makes it very likely that what was supposed to be my IVF start for next month is going to be another waiting cycle. My SIL is getting married in another state and flying with meds and dealing with injections at the rehearsal and wedding and all of that and the potential for not being back in time for monitoring is too much. I'm sad.
2) Just focusing on my diet right now. And debating when to schedule my acupuncture first appointment.
3) I'm trying to finish the 3rd 50 shades of gray book, despite really not enjoying the ending plot. And I'm kind of ashamed to admit I'm reading the book, ha, but it's the truth.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? Charting & peeing on OPKs. I don't know if I'll continue with the CBE fertility monitor after this cycle. I bought a new BBT that was recommended by a few of the ladies here, I'm hoping that helps with my "fluctuates more than normal" temps.
2) Anything coming up this week? No plans yet. We were going to see Iron Man 3 this weekend, but I might postpone it for another time because I can't stand crowds & hate a crowded theater. Apparently I'm a crochety old woman.
3) what book are you reading right now? The Casual Vacancy by J.K. Rowling. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm not far into it, I didn't get to read it on the train this morning & didn't feel terribly sad about that, so maybe that says something lol.
kershnic - oh man that sucks. I really hate working out the timing for IVF. I will actually be taking my lupron to Mexico with me next week which I am dreading. It's the only way I would be able to start the cycle.
@pambhalpert - I am not a Harry Potter reader but I really enjoyed The Casual Vacancy - I think she is a very good writer but I agree with you, it wasn't really un-put-downable.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? waiting to start IVF #1.
2) Anything coming up this week? Nope. Next week is my baseline though. I have gone from one pack of pills to another one and I have been spotting since last Thursday - no real AF though. I am assuming a little break through bleeding is normal but I never had that before when I was on the pill.
3) what book are you reading right now? I just finished reading an Amanda Knox book (not the one by her). It was good and did make me more sympathetic towards her which I wasn't at all before TBH.

Man, Lupron in Mexico sounds rough! If it were Lupron for me with this trip we'd do it I think, but we're doing an antagonist cycle and so I'll be starting stims. Dealing with mixing and refridgeration and everything with family around who don't know we're doing it is a bit much.

yeah, I don't think I would do the mixing etc either. TBH, I am not worried about doing the lupron in Mexico - I am worried about going through security in the US and then in Mexico (flying from Canada via Miami) - I would just rather avoid it.
Is antagonist the protocol without lupron or bcp? (short protocol?

You'll be getting a doctor's note for the airplane, right? At IVF class the nurses mentioned needing a note to fly with syringes but said it shouldnt be a big deal.
And yes, you're right about the IVF protocol. We'll use Ganirelix I think to suppress ovulation rather than the BCP/long lupron suppression. My 1st IVF was with Lupron and was not successful and no frosties so it seems like this is the common 2nd try protocol.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? Cycle 2 post D&E, CD 5
2) Anything coming up this week? No, just hoping I don't bleed for 8 days like I did last cycle - I usually only have 3-4 days of bleeding so I'm not used to this. Otherwise, debating if we want to try this cycle or not. We're likely going to have family here for my FW so we'll see. I don't know if we're ready anyway.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? CD 35 and hoping that next week will be IUI #1....ETA: So AF showed up after writing this and am now waiting for a call back from my ob/gyn office to see if we can do a medicated IUI this cycle. I was waiting for a +opt to try one unmedicated cycle but never got a + and just now started AF.
2) Anything coming up this week? Nothing really....DH is out of town until Friday night/Sat morning. I may go rent Silver Linings Playbook now that it is out on Redbox and watch while DH isn't home.
3) what book are you reading right now? Nothing for fun, just my nursing school text books as finals are around the corner.
2) Anything coming up this week? A relative is moving in and will stay with us for 2 months. It's not an ideal situation but I hope we won't have any major issues.
3) what book are you reading right now? Middlesex by Jefferey Eugenides. It's really engrossing.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? AF should be here monday/tues next week...assuming this cycle wasn't it. I didn't plan for this cycle to work since we do our IUI next month but we actually had good timing (I didn't think I'd O without ovulation meds but did according to FF). I REALLY want a margarita this weekend though....
2) Anything coming up this week? IUI next month! I'm excited/anxious/scared
3) what book are you reading right now?I'm reading so much, I need to stay off amazon. My favorite series is the Thoughtless trilogy. I also read Collision Course (have tissues ready), and Crossfire Trilogy I loved. I just ordered the Crash or Clash trilogy, can't remember what the first book is called. I'm really into "romance" novels

I read 50 shades last year. I liked it at first, but once I read Crossfire series I loved that one more. The 3rd 50 shades I thought sucked and it took me forever to get through (although I did read all 3 in 5 days ) I thought the drama in book 3 was a little much.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? Month 21. CD2.
2) Anything coming up this week? IUI this cycle! I picked up my meds last night and start them tomorrow. Holy crap! I also started acupuncture on Monday. The woman I went to was very knowledgeable about IF and it was relaxing, so we'll see. I have another appointment next week.
3) what book are you reading right now? I finished Gone Girl a couple of weeks ago and haven't started anything else yet. I am in a book rut. I couldn't get into the last few books I tried.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? CD16, cycle I don't know what. Going on 1.5 years now with 1 miscarriage.
2) Anything coming up this week? No, natural cycle, although I'm taking herbs from my acu to try to shrink/soften this fibroid. In May I have appointments with 2 other doctors to think about whether to do surgery or try IUI. Depending on what they say, I'll probably start 3 IUIs in June. I'd like to be pregnant ASAP, but we're going to San Fran/Sonoma in August and I'd like to enjoy that.
3) what book are you reading right now? Game of Thrones series...Book 3. I love them, but lord are they long.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? TTC since Oct 2011, currently on CD 4 of IUI #3 2) Anything coming up this week? Just my clomid baseline tomorrow. That should be non-eventful, as long as I don't have any cysts. This is my last IUI with a decent chance though, so I'm getting a little nervous. The dr said that he'll do 5-6 cycles, if I want, but if it doesn't work in the first 3, it's not likely to ever work.
3) What book are you reading right now? I'm sloooowly reading "Let's Pretend the Never Happened" by the Bloggess. I think she is so hilarious. I have never literally LOLed so much while reading. I want a meme that has a picture of her giant metal chicken at the front door and says "Perspective: Now you have it" and drop it in all kinds of complaint posts. I also really admire her perspective and openness about mental illness.
1) Where are you in your TTTC journey? TTC since Sep. 2012. I guess this is Cycle 1 again, CD 21.
2) Anything coming up this week? Nothing really. Not TTC, just tracking CM which seems to be right on track for a 28-30 day cycle. I'm not getting my hopes up yet though because my first cycle after the first m/c was really normal and then it got super wonky the following cycle. Waiting for AF to show up (hopefully late next week); as soon as it returns, my doctor is putting in lab orders for RPL bloodwork. Results should be back about 2 weeks after that. I just want to know already!
3) What book are you reading right now? Nothing. I bought The Paris Wife when I got my Nexus for Christmas but I still haven't read a single page. I need to work on that.
1) 11dpiui of the 2ww! Ugh, this is taking forever.
2) Nothing this week. Beta next Monday or Tuesday. I'm trying to ease myself out of hope at the moment though because I'm getting PMS symptoms including some minor cramping.
3) I want to start The Misremembered Man, but I hadn't gotten it on my kindle yet. I'm sure sure if it's good or not, but it got great reviews.
