I am slowly catching up on Monday's episode and then I saw a little bit of the sneak peek thing they do. Anyway, what are your thoughts on the way Vicki's daughter and SIL are treating the Brooks situation? I am betting that they are paying a small amount in rent and while I can see them not wanting Brooks over while they are there (I guess) I can't understand banning him from the house even when they are not there.
Also, her SIL was putting that car seat in wrong which drove me nuts and then is all "Looks great!"

I feel like the episode I saw on Monday was a week behind, but I´m not sure. It was the episode where Alexis, Lydia and Vicki all go to Tamra´s party at the gym...is that the right episode?
IMO, Vicki is a grown woman who can make her own decisions. And that is her house. So if she wants to invite him over, then she should go ahead.
If it bothers Brianna and her DH so much, then she needs to find a place of her own.
I agree and I think she only agreed to it because at the time they thought that Brianna's H would be deployed for a year and so it would just be Brianna and the baby living with her and wanted that time with them. So, maybe in those circumstances, it was worth making that agreement.
I can't wait to see her dinner with him next week where he admits to seeing other people and I want to say, "Yeah, because he needs to mooch off of SOMEONE"
As crazy as I think Brooks is- Briana is definitely using that baby to manipulate Vicki into not seeing Brooks. Remember in the first episode how everyone called shenanigans on Vicki about breaking up with Brooks? Total ruse so that Briana and the baby stay with her. And I don't think it's fair. I get looking out for your mom but seriously- just let her make her owns mistakes.
I think Vicki made a choice. Brianna and her H didn't want their kid around Brooks (he sounds like a pig-looking at prostitutes in Mexico and sponging off Vicki) so they wouldn't move in unless he didn't come by. Vicki obviously didn't chose Brooks over having her kids move in, so I think in a sense she really didn't care all that much about it, she just likes to talk about it for drama. It makes me ragey when she calls her grandchild "my baby" or "our baby"--I don't know why, it just sounds dumb.

What I don't get is that people take "breaks" all the time in relationships. She never said they were over over, she said they were on a break (cue Friends) and everyone was ripping on her about it. Can you tell that Gretchen has been getting on my nerves this season? lol
I think her SIL is a controlling asshole. I get that Brooks is super sleazy, but it's still Vicki's house and she should be able to do what she wants. I'd FLIP if my SIL had cameras installed in my house. CAMERAS, ffs.

I completely agree with this. I hate Brooks and think he is using Vicki. However, it is her house and Brianna can't dictate who comes in her house. If she moved in with the agreement with Vicki that Brooks wouldn't be in the house and Vicki changed her mind she needs to just say, "Ok fine I need 30 days to get a new place I hope you can respect our agreement during that time and then Brooks is more than welcome here", or something similar. Instead Brianna just seems to be blackmailing Vicki with the baby. I get she wants to protect her mom but I just don't like the way she is going about it.
Someone help me out! Am I an episode behind? Por favor!
Monday was the end of Tamra's party. Vicki, Alexis and Lydia left in the limo and the other girls stayed. THen Vicki had her family over at her house. And Lydia went to Alexis' house to visit her.
ETA: Well now I'm wondering if I am an episode behind?? ^o) I don't remember the 3 Heather, Tamra and Lydia going to dinner...

No joke and the way he was talking to her made me uncomfortable. Condescending comes to mind.
And when Brianna was bitching about the construction and remodeling taking so long I wanted to slap her. I think the house is going to look nice and more importantly, IT'S NOT HER HOUSE! lol

Yeah, Ryan (I think that's his name) needs to settle down with the "I'm the man of the house" talk. No, you are just renting a room in your MIL's house. You don't set the rules.
This! And what was with the security cameras? I get it that they think Brooks is shady but it's not like he's going to try to break into their house. That was really weird.

I just assumed he was putting them up to catch Viki having Brooks over when she said she wasn't? I really like the SIL until now.

lol, that's even worse. You know what I was wondering though, do you think it's odd that Vicki is willing to let Bravo film all of this? Isn't it going to put a lot of strain on Brianna's 1 minute old marriage if her husband is portrayed as a psycho on national tv? I mean, I get why Vicki has problems with the situation but as a mom, wouldn't you try to protect your daughter and not air her/their dirty laundry? It's just really strange to me.
No, I don't think that's it. I think Vicki really loves her daughter and wants the best for her. But Vicki is also very self centered and I think having Briana living with her makes Vicki feel better about their relationship. Vicki wants to be the saint who helped with the deployment/baby, etc.
If I were a real housewife (anywhere, not just OC), I'd put security cameras up too. It's invasive enough to have your home and family filmed for national television through Bravo. They couldn't pay me enough to be a part of the RH franchise. But, every nut case in America now knows the layout of their houses, where the children sleep, what cars they drive, what kind of jewelry they own. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I'd encourage them all to read The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker.
Yeah, the security cameras were a bit much. I get that Brianna wants to feel safe in her mom's, but you can't dictate who your mom dates. I do hate Brooks and he is a total mooch, but Vicky is the mom and owner of the house.
I'm surprised that I actually liked Lydia this episode. Even though she's Alexis' friend, she at least gave her honest opinion. She's kind of annoying, but seems to look at things fairly.
I thought the SIL installed the cameras because he is thinking random creepers would come to the house. Since the house has been on TV/is known as Vicki's house and his infant is in the house. No?

I did too. She came off as much less of a ditz than in the first episode. The whole "wheee we have so much money" thing with the yacht was a bit much. She hit the nail on the head though about Alexis being overly defensive and emotional. I don't see them lasting as friends, lol.

Chances are it's editing that is making him look a wee bit more controlling than it (at least seems) he is in real life. The cameras might have been more for reasons of security, especially in the circumstances of his (potential) deployment, but you can't tell me he isn't using them to check up on the Vicki/Brooks sitch.
Oh and did anyone else catch Tamara using the word "beaner" in reference to Eddy* when they were at the Mexican restaurant? I think I actually gasped out loud when she said that.
*I'm paraphrasing but it was something along the lines of "Mexican restaurants bring out Eddy's beaner tendencies".
I still can't get over Tameras beaner comment about Eddie. Like, I literally cringed and had to rewind it to see if I actually heard that right. I'm in Orange County and she sounds like she lives somewhere thats sheltered from the hispanic culture which couldn't be furthest from the truth. If she had a brain she would know That word is a huge insult. And the worst part....she said it in an interview when she had time to think about what's coming out of her ignorant mouth!
What's "beaner"? I'm shocked that there is a slur I haven't heard, but I really haven't heard that one before. Does Eddie seem possibly gay to anyone else? Their relationship looks fake to me.

From the beginning I thought Eddy was gay and just wanting to get on the show (the hot tub thingee they did together was what made my eyebrows go up into my hairline). Maybe it's a regional thing, but around here "beaner" is a slur for people of Mexican descent, the thought being that they're illegals with a penchant for beans.

while I can see where people get the gay thing from, I don't think he is. I really do think of he were, he wouldn't want a beard.
I did think her ex, Simon, could be. Just something about him and he is one I don't think would ever admit to it.
Brianna and her man need to move out if they're not happy with Vicky having Brooks over. I'm no fan of Brooks and think he is awful. But, their demands of banning Brooks from the house are laughable. And stupid Vicky is falling for the manipulation. She's horrible to begin with, so it's hard for me to feel THAT sorry for her.
I'm not liking Heather this season. Actually, I thought she was self-rightous her first season, but at least tolerable. I can't tell if f her displeasure with her husband is for the sake of the show, or if it's sincere. Her interactions with him remind me of Adrienn Maloof.
Gretchen is a mean girl this season and sadly all this Alexis-bashing is making Alexis look like a victim. I never liked Alexis, but I'm starting to feel horrible for her.
