I don't want the tow bars, because several people have told us they are unstable. It would be for Anna this summer, and maybe next for longer rides. (She also has a small bike to learn to ride). And then we would reuse it with Sophia and future kiddo.
Worth the cash? Opinions? We do have a double stroller/trailer, but Anna is getting big for it. We also have a co-pilot infant seat that Sophia could use instead of the other trailer and which she would probably like better. I would keep the double trailer for when I am alone, but otherwise we would each be trailing a kid.

We have the first one you linked. I read extensive reviews and decided if you wanted a really nice, stable one, for 50 mile bike rides you need to spring for the 400$ trek. And since that was definitely not going to happen, it seemed like all the others were the same: somewhat wobbly, and can be jerky when a kid suddenly starts peddling hard.
DS was almost five when we got it, and he loved it immediately, and still does. He will tolerate being jammed in the burley with dd, but much prefers the trailabike. It also makes for more even loads for DH and I. With both kids in the burley, the person pulling them was always behind.
I may actually get a second one for dd next summer. We bike enough that I think it will be nice to have two, and ditch the burley.
As far as the ride with the wee ride, yes you can feel the wobbles, especially if DS is being a punk and rocking himself side to side for fun. A warning that if he doesn't behave he will be in the burley with dd makes it stop quick. His butt gets sore on long rides (longest we do is about an hour each way with a stop in between). So on a longer ride like that he will take a rest in the burley sometimes.
I also like that the wee ride folds. We have brought it to my parents house (he mount lot comes on and off easily) to mount it to my dad's bike. Taking the burley anywhere is impossible, bc even though it folds, it is still huge.
Thank you, that is great info! We don't go very long rides, more like 30 minutes each way for our longer ones and lots of super short ones for running errands, going to the pool, the park, etc. I think I will order it. Our local bike store has only the $250 one and we hesitated last weekend, but after buying her a new $200 trek bike, it seemed way too much.

W have a 200$ bike for DS, which I think it well worth. Bt for a trailer, I am ding the work (peddling) anyway, so I figure it doesn't matter as much. And since the online reviews indicated that the 100$ and 250$ trailabikes were the same in terms of wobble (and just fine for shorter leisure rides) I wasn't willing to pay extra.
We are very happy to have it. It makes bike rides fun, rather than a battle to get both kids jammed in the burley and not hitting/poking/elbowing each other.
