I missed all the stuff about emotional support dogs. Is your new baby really one? Are you training or for one if you guys? Does she go everywhere with you?
I wouldn't be so outright nosy except it sounds like you discussed it quite a bit on here

Emotional support dogs aren't trained in any way. It is the human's diagnosis that is operative, not any skills by the dog. DH just needed his psychiatrist to sign a note stating he gets a psychiatric benefit from the dogs. It was very easy and a great situation!

This concept is interesting to me. My dog has helped me through some very tough times too - been quite therapeutic actually. I didn't know this was a thing.

I have an ex-friend who had her two dogs be service dogs. It was pretty dumb, but allowed her to have her pets on an airplane - so yay for her I guess!
