We stayed at the stunning Nixe Palace Hotel. It's right on the coast, with balconies overlooking the water (worth paying extra for one of those).
It's a quick cab ride into Palma from there--maybe ten minutes and a few Euro--or there's a bus stop outside.
There's a spa on site with views over the sea, as well as a restaurant that we enjoyed, again with seating overlooking the water. It was a relaxing and absolutely wonderful place.

We went last month and stayed at the Isla de Mallorca. It's not on the beach, more of a residential area, but we really enjoyed it. Plus, it was a spa.
