Tell me about your diet. Stress level? How do you feel about pooping at work/public? What did you eat/drink on the cleanse? How were your stools while doing it?
I figured I wasn't the only one who has these issues, so I knew this was the best place for advise. I have an extremely hard time going to the bathroom, poop. I just recently did a 14 day cleanse, which worked but now that I am finished with it, I'm back to not going at all, and when I do maybe once a week, it is painful, and takes alot of pushing. LOL I have tried stool softeners, which somewhat help, but I feel like I shouldn't have to take them everyday. Anyone have any other suggestions?
Are you implying that we are all, in fact, a bunch of tight asses?
Seriously though - if it's that bad, I'd go to a doctor or something and see if they can't help you get things going. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water and getting enough fiber, etc. etc.

2 parts fortiflax to 1 part psyllium whole husks, large glass of half water half prune juice, mix it all up, chug it, chug another glass of water, voila. Magical poop. I make a big bag of it once a month or so and then put two spoonfuls in my water. I don't mix it with juice myself, but I did when I first started. Also, start with just one scoop and work your way up.
Start by keeping a food journal and looking at what you are eating. You are probably not getting enough fiber. Up your water intake and cut down on processed foods and up your intake of fresh vegtables. Get yourself a good pro-biotic and start taking this every day with a fiber supplement. Do not strain!! Let nature take its course and work on getting more fiber.
Agree about making sure you're eating enough fiber and fruits and veggies, water, etc. But if you're doing all that and still having issues, try magnesium. Walmart has the tablets cheap, start with one pill and work up to 2 if that doesn't help in a few days. I take one magnesium pill and Miralax every day, I didn't used to have to do Miralax but after I got sick a few months ago the mag. alone doesn't do the job. And yes, I know you really aren't supposed to take Miralax for an extended period of time, but it is sometimes approved for chronic constipation.

Eat more blueberries. I just ate a huge bowl full this morning and after not pooping for a few days it was like the heavens opened up and there it all came.
