There are tons of snails by us. When I was running in the mornings, I would see them out. One time it had rained the night before and it was like a snail-dodging course. Sometimes I'll see one still on the cement once the sun came out and I thought, "Poor little guy...he didn't make it!" If they were still alive I'd toss them in the bushes.
ETA: They're small snails. A big snail like that would freak me out.
Those are freaky. I have a ton of mini yellow ones that live on a stone wall on my front yard. I love the babies, so cute! But like stellas I hate walking on them. I have learned to look on the ground on rainy days to make sure to walk between the snails.
Whaaaa? I'm in Houston and I've never seen one. And I better not ever or I'll wet myself.
It is all over the news here in SoCal so it is surprising that you have not even heard about it in Houston.
I admittedly don't really watch much local news because it seems to be mostly depressing stuff (and snails, apparently). But I shall report back if I have a monster snail sighting!
