Family room

Gut and renovate the powder room
Remove carpet and level floors

Do something with the fireplace
Define a play area / corral for the kid stuff
Buy some new furniture - a sectional probably and ... whatever else

Kitchen

Remove fluorescent lighting and install recessed lighting

Replace upper cabinet doors
Paint existing cabinets
Install additional cabinetry in dining room (builtin buffet idea) and kitchen

Isn't the mouse door fun? I put little doll house hinges and hardware on it so she thinks it's a real door. I told her them it's magic, like the doors on Monster's Inc. - they keep opening it randomly to try to catch Tinkerbell. I sometimes put glitter around it to make them think Tink visited in the night.

It's BM Metropolitan Grey. It's a little more blue and cool than I thought it was going to be, but I like it so much we did our guest room the same color.
