How is Cal doing? I was just telling someone about him the other day when they asked if Doby was the most energetic dog in the whole world lol.

Haaaaaaahaha! Aw, Cal is great. I bet Doby has him beat these days. Cal is about 8 years old now (well, he's at least 7 and at most 8), and he has slowed down quite a bit. I mean, he's not decrepit or anything, but when we go running, he only pulls for the first mile, instead of for all 5 or 10 Chip has been away for 3 weeks and Cal's been my best buddy while he's gone.

So...I'd say you've got like 4 years til Doby slows down. But once he does...it'll be awesome! I saw that he went on an adventure a couple of weeks ago...I'm so glad he came home safe. I think that might actually have killed me...I don't know how you kept it together.

I was so scared for him! But I have said a million times that since he is SOOO friendly and will go to anyone who glances in his direction, that it always made me feel better if he were ever to get lost. And then when he actually DID get lost, that's exactly what happened! He was apparently just strolling down the side walk, on the way to the park in our neighborhood where we always let him off leash to throw his ball, bc there is a huge open field, and there were some people outside, and they said "hi buddy!" And he ran over there and became BFF's with him. Lol. So his lovable ness paid off!

they kept going ON AND ON about how awesome he is, and how it's SO cute that he likes to play so much, bc their pit bull puppy is so lazy. We were like  , because we get annoyed with him wanting to play every. Damn. Second. But we were glad that they liked him and took great care of him!

I'm glad that cal is doing well. He is the same age as Cosmo, but she has been slow and lazy for the past few years, so it's nothing new!
