In Houston in the 70s who preyed on teen boys. his family owned a small candy company, but still, I think it is a creepy, molester type nickname.

My parents thought it was appropriate for me to watch that movie when I was like 10. I was scarred for life.

Is the movie based on him? That movie scared the shit out of me LOL
No and I agree, that movie is freaky.
He had another boy who helped him lure victims to his house where he would sexually assault, torture and then kill them.
Because they were teens, even tough there were all these teen boys going missing, they were just written off as runaways.

This reminds me of this guy in my old neighborhood. He called himself Mr. Buddy. He was later revealed to be a child molester.
DUH. Dude introduces himself as Mr. Buddy and just loooooves all the neighborhood kids?? So many red flags.

I watched this movie when I was in 5th grade at a friends house, scared for life. I will never forget that scene in where they lift the toilet and it's filled with bees...vom

I saw the movie in grade school and was sure some monster with a hook was going to rip through my mattress at night while I was sleeping.
