Vegas - Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon Tour Recs

We're headed to Vegas for a few days in August for a race, and are toying with the idea of doing one of these tours. Recs or suggestions? Google is overwhelming me.

I have no recs right now but, I am going next week and plan to take a tour one day (I'll be on my own). When I get back, I may have more info to share.

We visited Las Vegas in November for 4 days and took one of those days for a Grand Canyon Tour. It was a full day tour, where the van picked us up (super early!) at our hotel and dropped us off there as well at the end of the day.

It's a smaller tour, less than 15 people per tour and the guide (we actually ended up with the owner of the company) was very knowledgeable.

We had a few stops on the way out to the Canyon - one for breakfast at McDonald's. Then we had a short stop at the Hoover Dam. We also had a short pit stop at Historic Route 66 in the town that inspired the movie "Cars".

They've also received rave reviews on Trip Advisor which is why we booked. The reviews were pretty spot on.

My husband and I really enjoyed it even though it was a crazy long day. Hope it helps!
