I know there are a few MN moms on here so thought I might find something. My DD is about 5 months and I was looking for a playgroup or mom group that we could go to together. I work full time but it seems like all the meet up groups meet during weekday hours. Even ECFE for my county only meets during daytime hours. Does anyone belong to a group that meets on the weekends? Or would you ladies want to start a play group? I don't have many friends that are also moms, so it would be nice to meet some in our area. Thanks

I have the same problem - I also work full time (I live in the south metro) and there isn't much offered after work hours! My girls are (almost) 6 and 2 1/2 years old.

My kids are the wrong age but the MN girls are always up for a drinkgroup.
I found a Twin Cities one on Meetup. A lot were during the day but they would meet on weeknights and weekends as well. I think it was a SAHM group.
Are you still a member? I was looking at Meet-up and most of them are city specific. There is actually one for the city I live in, but they are all during the day for SAHM.

No, not anymore. The one I was part if decided to start charging people a fee to stay in the group, at which point I left. I didn't meet with them often enough to justify a fee. But that was just one group, there are others on Meetup. I think the one I joined was specific to my area of the Twin Cities.
