I think she looks great in her competition pics. She was in a fitness competition. thats what the girls look like: thin and lean. It takes alot of dedication and hard work for fitness/figure competitions. I really can't hate on her.

My only take on her and her hubby both is that they are very narcissistic. They are waaaaaaaaay to caught up in appearances and creating an online image for themselves. And he is like 36! So I think she was a total trophy wife for him, and he obviously had some things she was lacking. I honestly don't see how she has any time for her children with all the self-proclaimed upkeep she requires daily. Between the hair and eyelash extensions, gym visits, worrying about having everyone picture perfect 24/7 AND running a business...I just don't see it. Oh, and did I mention the THREE blogs she has to boot??? You can "do it all," but you can't do it all "well" (imho). Something's gotta give. I also think they live well beyond their means and now, whether based solely on this or the economy or both, they are selling their house which is in the foreclosure process. All 5000 square feet of it. With room for ponies. I doubt they've outgrown it...and he built it...so........................

Uh... do you know her? This sounds really personal :::laughs uncomfortably:::

Ummm....ok? I was going to come in and say she's interpreting the LDS religion very loosely. She's got quite the cleavage going on in many photos. That's a huge no no.
Were you googling her or something? This is from early May.
This same thing happened on her GOMI page in the forums. It was dead and then someone who knows them personally parachuted in and told a whole long story about them. Very strange.
I have zero interest in this person, but she doesn't seem unhappy. It IS fascinating to me, however, that someone would take the time to find links to her website, follow them to random message boards, and inform strangers of your "concern."
Do you guys just have tons of time on your hands out there in Utah?
Her face is an entirely different color than her unnatural body color in the fitness competition photos. I don't know if that's better or worse than the chick whose face is the same unnatural color as her body. Eek!

All that I know is that I drove through Salt Lake City (I'm assuming that she lives close to there) and was horrified by the sheer amount of billboards, and what was on them. If the board wasn't advertising every form of plastic surgery, it was advertising ways to keep your home from going into foreclosure. So I highly doubt that the Hatch family is the only family in Utah to be obsessed with going above their means to be "Utah presentable".
My only opinion on her is that I'm glad that she has retained a sense of individuality/drive and hasn't had her identity morph into just "mom". My only other opinion is that she needs to edit her posts.
Wait I don't know that much about Mormonism, but wouldn't that bathing suit be off limits. I remember Mormons I went to school with not being able to wear sleeveless shirts.
It's all personal choice really.
Also, just FYI, (not at you vallarta) but using the term 'magical underwear' is really offensive. Just sayin'
eta lol - I just noticed that this was from early May. Huh? How'd this come back? *slowly backs out of thread.* oops.

Why is the term 'magic underwear' offensive? We use it all the time over here to refer to items such as Spanx

Because that's not that they're referring to in this situation. LDS Garments, which are worn for religion reasons and therefore very sacred to practicing Mormons who have chosen to take the covenants and wear them, are often called 'magic undies' or 'magic underwear'. It's like calling a yamaka a magic beanie.
I realize that this is a few months old and if I had actually read the dates I wouldn't have bothered but lol too late.

Maybe because we are related? Someone I know told me about this thread, since they knew my connection, so i decided to check it out. Funny that people that don't even know her are spending the time to criticize/analyze her based on a blog aren't considered creepy? I find it bizarre that these "boards" even exist -- i spent a few minutes on here to check it out, but it appears others spend their lives on here!!! TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTERS AND GET A LIFE!!! I simply checked something out, added my two cents (based upon REAL life) and now I'm done! Happy carpal tunnel, I'll be getting me some natural vitamin D! I hope I never have the need to revisit this land of...CREEPERS?
