Anyone awake and want to help me shoe shop?

I need to find flats, black, "open". So I guess some sort of dressy black sandal. Not overly expensive. 

I don't do heels because Autumn the giraffe's kid can walk better an hour after birth than I can in heels.

Hmm, I'm not sure about the shine. Would a gladiator type sandal look stupid with a long dress? If I could find some in all black? Or is that too bare bones?

Yah, they have to be black. I'm open to wedges, like the low wedges that are usually colored the same as the shoe. Wedges I can do. I forgot about that option.

She's an odd kind of special, but I chose 2 days before the 4th of july for mine so I can't complain. 


I wish I wore heels, I feel like heels add a lighter? feeling, where as flats or wedges are more of a chunky style. Does that make sense?

Ahahaha. Our local mall has a store called "strawberry", it is what has replaced the deb store. It's terrible.

It does make sense. I can't walk well in heels either and I always migrate to them and then end up buying a new pair of shoes halfway through the day because I thought I could handle it.
