The Disney freak I mentioned in the judge thread goes in October every year because lines are so short. I think early November is good too but I can't confirm because he is out of the office until Monday.
Yes. October is great. Not too hot (usually) and less crowded than summer. They go all out for Halloween, so you might try to do a trick or treat thing while you're here.

Go with the mindset that you don't have/need to "do it all." Let the kid dictate the pace, and you'll be good.
And is she over 3? If so, book her a spot at the Bibbidy Bobbidy salon. Even if she doesn't know princess (yet....she will by the time this is over!), what 3+ year old girl doesn't love glitter? You will all be crusted in it but it is just sooo muuuch fuuunnnn.
I fully believe that "disney haters" would change their tune if they went on a low key trip during a cooler month (not sweltering in the middle of the summer), during a lower crowd time. See it through a kid's eyes, and walla. Disney magic.
