My dad liked the Blu e-cigs. Ultimately it was Chantix that got him off smoking, but he used the e-cig to sort of get used to the idea of quitting (he smoked for 40 years).
I have a friend that uses the blue one. He seems to like it, but he isn't actually trying to quit smoking. They just can't smoke regular cigarettes at work, so he uses this kind instead

yes, I don't think blue is actually zero or even lower nicotine, I think it's just like smoking a regular cigarette only electronic so it depends on what you want. Are you trying to quit or just want to be able to use the e-cigarette.

I am not sure if this is true so hopefully someone can tell me if DH is nuts. He told me that an article he read said that the damage that you aren't doing to your lungs you are doing to your kidneys (or maybe liver or maybe some other internal organ that I am blanking on because this is second hand information). Like I said I am not sure if it is true or not but for some reason I just don't really like the idea of the e-cig.
If you are trying to quit I would look into chantix. I "quit" using it, I didn't really stop all the way until I got pregnant. It is amazing what quitting drinking did to make it easier to quit smoking. I did go from about a half pack a day to a pack or so a month though after the Chantix which felt pretty good personally. I also have some friends/family members who quit successfully that way. I have heard about the crazy side-effects but I didn't have any at all. Anecdotal evidence but everyone else I know had either no side effects or mild/not concerning side effects.
Actually the studies on e-cigs are pretty positive. And lets be honest, smoking doesn't damage just your lungs. I quit using zyban/Wellbutrin and DH uses electronic cigarettes. He has used them for a while, but never had any intention of quitting those. He buys his own nicotine juice and the "smoke" is just nicotine and water vapor. Nicotine is pretty much like caffeine when you take all the carcinogens away. I bought a disposable one when I went on a girls trip because I like to have a few hits of his when i am drinking. I bought the Blu, which is a brand he doesn't like but the only one I recognized. It did the trick for what I wanted it for. DH has been doing this for years and is some kind of expert, but it is all over my head with cardimizers (sp?) and different nicotine liquids.
