Gosnell Makes a Sentencing Deal; Will Serve Life

West Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, convicted yesterday of murdering babies born alive during abortions, today agreed to give up his right to all future appeals in his case. In exchange, Philadelphia prosecutors have agreed not to pursue the death penalty against the 72-year-old physician.

i doubt he would have gotten the DP anyway. i have a hard time believing, no matter how completely disgusting he is, that people would sentence an old man to death.

and honestly, he won't last long anyway. couple the fact that he's a baby-killer with the fact that he's 72. he'll be lucky if he makes it 5 years. better the state not spend $$ on appeals trying to kill him. although, if there was ever someone who deserved it, it's this piece of shit.

Good call. At 72, he won't make it to be killed and it would just cost the state more money for the appeals and such.

I say they should slip his cell mate a pair of scissors so he can die the same way his victims did.

Exactly. He wouldn't actually be executed, and he'd just die in prison either way. At least this way is cheaper for tax payers. 

I think he's not in good health, anyway.
