3. It's about the amount and quality of information the typical internet-connected American consumes, and how a junk diet of information leads to wasted time and being poorly informed and biased.
4. I'd give it a 3 - it was short and to-the-point, had helpful suggestions, but wasn't very engrossing.
5. I read the occasional self-help book, but I wouldn't say it's typical.
7. Next fiction - Venus in Furs. Next non-fiction - I might attempt Katharine Graham's "Personal History" again. It's been on my shelf for years and I've never gotten very far into it.
1. 12th of Never (12th book in the James Patterson Women's Murder Club series)
2. 4 pages as I got it for mother's day and re-read 11 before starting
3. The Women's murder club paralles 4 women, a detective, medical examiner, ADA, and journalist who are all good friends and work together behind the scenes to solve murders.
4. I can't rate this one but I give the series a 5
5. Yes and no. I read a lot of James Patterson but other than him I have an embarrassingly large lesbian fiction or lesbian murder mystery collection. Anything from books that are cheesy to really good.
6. I will probably finish it by tomorrow night as I am a fast reader
7. Two lesbian books (The Campaign which is a follow up to The Candidate about a women vice president who comes out on the campaign train when she is running for the presidency. Then I also have the new Geri Hill book that is a sappy romance)
Yup I am stepping into the light to admit I am a lesbian fiction whore!

I'm reading More Home Cooking by Laurie Colwin. I'm about 2/3 through. It's about...home cooking! There are some recipes, but mostly it's essays about cooking. I would give it a 3.5 right now. It's pretty typical for me -- I read a lot of food books. I read on the subway and don't read at home a lot these days, unless the book is REALLY drawing me in. This is not one of those.

1. What book are you reading right now/recently finished? * might be tmi * Currently reading, the Ins and Outs of POOP' on my Nook. 2. How far are you through it? Geee... let me check... page 48 out of 112. That seems quite a bit to me.. 3. What's it about? It is about "poop" and how some children have difficulties with it. It was written for parents and caretakers, with a chapter for doctors. 4. Rate it on a scale of 1-5 so far. Here -- it depends where you are in the book itself. Currently I'm rating it a 3.5. 5. Is it the kind of book you normally read? No, this isn't but I NEED information about how to tackle Mikhail's struggle with pooping. 6. Are you pacing yourself or do you have your nose buried in it all the time? I'm pacing it.. I had not read it for awhile so I might end up re-reading what I've already read. 7. Do you have another book lined up to read next? If so, what is it? Got some "Werewolves" novels next.
Extra _ gotta love the different apps that allow you to read such as Kindle and Nook. I (heart) them!
