Hi all! I posted in here before i had to put my dogs down, although not frequently.
Anyway... I am bringing home a kitten tonight and I wanted to see if I am forgetting anything, supply wise, that I would need for her.
I have: Kitten food Metal food/water dish Litter box Scoopable litter Scratching post Brush Bed Toys Collar Treats
Am I forgetting anything? I haven't had a kitten in so long!
PS I checked the FAQ page but didn't see a list of necessities and my search function won't work on my phone, so please forgive me if this has been asked before.
It's an enzymatic cleaner, good for accidents. I just like to keep some on hand because my cat will occasionally have hairballs and throw up on the carpet.
Haha, I don't know why the same photo loaded. I really did choose a different one the second time.
Anyway, she has been great so far. She did well overnight- I had her up in my room with me. She slept in her bed and used the litter box while she was in there.
I think Lily is out, but another name is in. So now I have to decide between Daisy, Izzy, or the new name- Gabi.
Feliway! I swear by the stuff. My vet recommended it when one of my kittens was having a problem. It's a pheromone spray or plugin to help calm the kitten down. It helps them with new surroundings or to help them stop marking/scratching areas you don't want damaged.
