Internet service?

What do you pay for Internet? And who is your provider?

We've always had Comcast, and when it was bundled with cable, the Internet portion was around $40. Last fall, we switched from cable to Directv so H could have the Sunday ticket, and somehow now we are paying Comcast $70 for Internet service only. I feel like we are getting totally screwed.

You are. We have directtv (also for the NFL Sunday Ticket) and we're paying Brighthouse $54 for internet and phone. That said, we're looking into FIOS because we had another outage on Friday, and since I work at home and outage is a big PITA.

I thought that seemed crazy. I just looked at some of their advertised specials and then called them and they dropped it down to $29.99 for 6 months (then it will be 49.99). I don't know why I didn't question it sooner.
