Spoilers, in case anyone opened this hoping there weren't any.
I'm SO ANNOYED with Arizona. WTF is she thinking? Using the plane crash and her leg as an excuse to cheat on her wife? Really? Callie deserves so much better.
I'm glad Meredith and baby are ok. Did they really name the baby Bailey? I keep seeing it on Twitter and I don't remember hearing that but maybe I somehow missed it. I was hoping for something else, but oh well.
I totally thought they were going to kill off Hunt and Avery. SO glad they didn't. I've been wanting Jackson and April together and now maybe it will happen! Kinda saw Owen and Cristina breaking up. I liked them for a while but I give Cristina a lot of credit for thinking of him and how he'd be missing out on being a dad if he stays with her.
I hope Weber is ok I'd be sad if they end up killing him off!
I saw the situation with Owen and Christina coming from a mile away.
I hope they stop having dramatic situation with Meredith. She is the main character of the show. We all know she isn't going to die unless Ellen Pompeo quits the show.
I laughed so hard when they ran down the number of near death experiences. It was almost a self-aware moment of how ridiculous it is.
I called the electrocution before Richard even went to the basement. I saw there was water and electricity, so I knew something was going to happen. I just didn't know who exactly at that point.
I watched the episode twice because I missed things. I love that they named the baby Bailey- like a play on Dr. Bailey naming her son after George. The scene with Arizona and Callie was so intense. I am sad for Callie but I never liked Arizona. I love the EMT and do not want to see him go. I loved the cheesy proposal.
I am also over Arizona and her "you cut of my leg!!!". You are alive and your wife had to make a scary decision. Get over it.
I completely agree. Plus, she was actually there when her friends DIED. You would think at some point she would get over the pity party and just be thankful to be alive.

I hope Richard is not really dead
I am really annoyed with Arizona right now. I mean I get it. She went through some shit. Still doesn't excuse cheating on your wife.
On a side note, it is stupid that Meridith HAD to have a c-section when babies are born face presentation all that time. TV is dumb when it comes to birth.

I'm curious, do you have stats on this? My son presented face first and my doctor was pretty adamant that we needed to do a c-section ASAP. I haven't done much research on it. I just know that it's pretty rare, less than 1%of live births. My doctor had never had one before.

sure, I will send you a PM as to not hijack the thread

I really don't think insisting on a c-section with a facial presentation is all that unusual. It's probably doctor preference. A lot consider a c-section safer with facial presentation although the safety issue was probably a toss up with the power out. I didn't find the decision odd at all.
ETA: I was pretty disappointed in the finale actually. It may have been because I watch Scandal too and I just thought that finale was so much more...exciting...I guess is the word. I don't know if there's really anything I'm looking forward to next season or not if Richard is really dead (he did look pretty burnt or is lab coat did at least). I mean none of the characters are really doing anything I find all that interesting right now. April and Arizona both have that potential relationship drama but I really can't stand either of those characters at this point soooo....

I was trying not to hijack But yes, what I said in my PM to erin2903 is that c-section is recommended in 10-20% of face presentation births depending on the chin position. But yes, I don't think it is unusual at all since I don't think a lot of doctors are trained in face presentation. It was just that "vaginal birth is not possible" line that irked me. But again, I am just annoyed in general with most TV presentations of labor/birth.
I'm glad that Christina decided to leave Owen, they both want different things and they can't achieve them while being toghether.
At one point (when she started saying, do you know how much I love you...) I was afraid they were going to make Christina have a baby to please Owen. I was very happy they didn't go that route and kept Christina true to herself.
