Oh wait, I'm backwards, 76 day, 72 night! Still. I like it cool I guess. If there were no such thing as energy cost I would keep it 72 around the clock like when I was 9 months preggo.

I pretty much leave mine at 78. Occasionally it gets bumped up or down a degree, but we get cold easy. My brother keeps his air around 72 & I'm freezing at his house.
We keep ours at 75. We have gotten much better though. When we first moved here we kept it at 70. We were in college and then after college our apt was tiny so the costs weren't too bad.

75 during the day. 77 at night. Right now it's 86* in my house and I want to fucking kill someone. The AC repair guy is trying to get me a new motor. I haven't had AC in 24 hours and I'm one cranky woman.

This exact same thing happened to us last weekend. The motor died. We noticed it Saturday night and luckily it was fixed by Sunday afternoon, although it got up to 88 at one point. Fun times.
78 degrees usually all day and night, but we put it up to 80 if we go anywhere since we have dogs. I tend to stay pretty comfortable, other than the past few nights when I get pretty hot...

78! We have a small place but our electric never tops $100. I also live in an area where our electricity is from Florida Power and Light which I heard has cheaper rates than back when we lived in Clearwater and had Progress Energy.
I can't believe how many peeps are comfortable at 78. I'm holding steady at 75 today but it's not my fav. Sheesh. Is it because I'm from the Americanized version of Antarctica?
