That sucks, you were nice enough to make food for everyone, they should have washed the pan. I've had clients bring in a dish before for us at work and have always washed the dish before returning it back to them.
You definitely have the right to be annoyed but this wouldn't bother me. It wouldn't occur to me to wash the pan so I can relate to the dickish CW. At the same time, I would never take the last of a casserole at work so it wouldn't fall on me to wash the pan. I'll still rally behind you and call DH's CWs assholes.
I would if I took the last bit and they were not in the office. Even if they were in the office. Last user washes the dish.
Yes, or at the very least, pour some dish soap and hot water and let the pan soak for 15 mins. It can still go in the dishwasher when the owner gets home.
I wouldn't expect my coworkers to do it for me, although I would appreciate it. But I would do it if someone else brought something in, because I am a nice person and would be embarrassed to leave a mess for someone else to clean up.
I would never expect my co-workers to wash any of my dishes.
This falls squarely on the husband and the husband only.
Nope, I'm with you.
We just had a huge office party today and it would never occur to me to wash a co-workers potluck dish (if they left it at work). I would be mad if my H did something similar and then didn't wash it correctly at home. BUt I wouldn't expect people at work to wash someone else's dish.
I guess I would probably wash my coworker's casserole dish if I took the last serving, but I would never take the last serving, so that's a moot point. I would never expect them to do that for me, however.

No, you're not the only one.
I've ate many casseroles at work and never have cleaned a pan..... except for the one I BROUGHT. How are his coworkers responsible for something he brought? Wouldn't occur to me.
