I am annoyed by the doppleganger twist.  Because of that I am not looking forward to next season.

I did love the Katherine/human thing though.

I liked it. A friend mentioned that with Jeremy back and still able to talk with the dead, Stefan should be out of there in no time with Lexie and other supes still out in the nothing.

Katherine becoming human was a great ending with that. And the fact that Silas created the immortality spell instead of Ketsia(or however you spell that name) did.

I wish Alaric could come back. I missed him and Damon being a duo.

Stefan ended up being Silas' Doppelganger. Silas said he created a doppelganger/ shadow, so that it could die and he could live. I don't know where or how that came about and Silas is a Stefan twin, like Elana is a Katherine twin. So for Silas to clue Stefan in, he appeared as the already known doppelganger to bring it all together. That's how I took it.
