So pudding is between 25 and 26in long depending on his level of coperation at measure time. This makes him either a 62 or a 68.
However, kid is skinny as a rail and measures below a 50 for everything else. I'm sure this doesn't matter much when making one piece outfits but what the hell size am I supposed to cut for things that need to fit his little waist?
I traced off a tee shirt last night and the thing looks cute for him even before I added seam allowances.

As a fellow skinny kid mom, I trace/modify depending on the pattern and how easy it is to alter. If it has an elastic waist, I sometimes just trace a size or so smaller than the length I need and use the elastic to cinch it up. So I have a smaller width but longer length. Make sense? I do the same with dresses so they don't swallow her.
