And it looks pretty good! I'm trying to get my hair healthier so I've been taking vitamins, washing only 2-3 times a week, not brushing when wet, and my latest step is to avoid the blowdryer and curling iron. It's actually pretty decent looking so I think I'm going to keep trying this method.
I've also been using kerastase masque intense, which is wonderful, and cocnut oil on the ends the evening before washing.

I let mine air dry more than not, especially in the summer. It has a lot more wave and body. I can never get it blown out as nice as my salon. I picked up the Goody Quick Style Brush and have been able to get it a little more manageable with the blow dryer. It really does cut drying time too. The brush looks ridiculous, but I'm liking it.
I also go talked into trying Biomega Behave at home and am still liking the results. It has keratin and moisturizers to help with dry hair. It dos seem to be shinier and healthier when I use this to blow dry.
I picked up this stuff to try this weekend for when I spend a lot of time in the sun. I'm hoping it works like they claim since we are outside a lot in the summer. I really want something for when I don't wash and have been out all day.

I saw that brush at Target & was curious on how it worked. And if you are out in the sun a lot & want to help protect your hair, I'd recommend getting a sun protection spray.
I've been attempting to embrace my natural texture as well. Thankfully I work from home and it doesn't have to look great on a daily basis. My whole life I always thought I had to 'do' something with my hair to make it look good. It's so hard to not think that way. Sadly.
Is the Phyto 9 good for frizz control? I feel like mine frizzes out without something in it. I've been using serums and leave in's but it's not 'great'.

I had doubts but since it's microfiber terry and absorbs well, it really does help get rid of some of the water. It's not hard to clean either. I've noticed fly aways are really cut down with use which has always been an issue with super fine hair. I even use it without a dryer since it does get rid of excess moisture even without heat.

I think it's pretty decent for not using the dryer. Well, wait - I did use it but just barely - enough to make it not soaking.
FCG that brush looks interesting, I might have to check it out!! I like the phyto 9 I think it does a really great job smoothing and taming flyaways and stuff like that. We usually don't get that much huimidity here compared to other places, though.
It's crazy how blonde my hair looks here. In other pictures taken during the same timeframe, different location/lighting - the color looks totally different!

I'm staying in a hotel starting on Wednesday and really want to try the brush with a crappy dryer. I'll let you know how that works out since it will be the real test.
I really like your hair like that! It's a great look for you. I'll have too try the Phyto 9. The Biomega is really hard to come by at my salon. That could be a good sub when I can't get the other.
Hark your hair looks great. I hate letting mine air dry. It gets really wavy at my roots and in some parts the hair is straight and others wavy. I could probably tame it a little if I had a good product and played up the waves, but with the roots especially since I have a lot of regrowth from postpartum hair loss-I really need my curling iron.

thanks! All I used was its a 10 leave in to detangle, then phyto 9 leave in conditioner, then I dried it a little bit with the dryer - no brush - just with fingers, so it wasn't soaking. then I scrunched it (without product). Day 2 and it looks even better!
