I can't believe my little guy is 3 months old already. His personality is starting to come out more and more, and I love watching him go from being very cautious when he first meets someone to "flirting" with them. He's babbling up a storm and I wonder what he has to say, because I'm sure it's a lot.
Aegis- S is in a fun stage and it only gets better :-)
T is in his last week if daycare (they end with the school year) but will start summer camp in a few weeks. He loves playing with all the other kids and is doing better at drop off. We are waiting to hear back from All children's on when we will start PT for his toe walking but it should be soon. We are also going to be starting Speech through Early Steps in the coming weeks as well. He is trying to say a lot more these days and is showing us he understands what we say. He is already growing in leaps and bounds and I can't wait to see how therapy helps him.
O is becoming a lot more alert. He loves to look at lights. He sleeps great at night but when he is awake he is a boob monster. At his 2 week appointment he was 9lbs 8.4oz so he had successfully passed his birth weight. We go back in another week or so for his 1 month well visit.
Zoe is speaking in little sentences and it is so cute! You never know what will come out of her mouth! We go to Shriner's on Thursday as a follow up for her hips, so that will be a long morning. Next Tuesday she is getting her 2 broken teeth fixed and I am so nervous! I have that she will need an IV and sedation.
Jack is doing great! Still sleeping a lot lol! Wearing him has saved my life on many occasions, especially having 2 kids. I can't wait till I can wear him on my back. Right now it is hard to get things done when he is in the front. Last night he wouldn't take a bottle and I am freaking out. He has been slow to take it, but was doing ok, and last night he took about 2 sips. I go back to work 3 weeks from today. I am kicking myself for not starting him on a bottle sooner. I will be on day shift my first 3 days back and work and H told me last night that he doesn't want a sitter watching Jack for that long, esp since I will not be home sleeping. He is going to hopefully take those days off from work. It makes me feel so much better! I HATE leaving him with someone else at this age. It just doesn't seem right. Stupid USA.
Alex is doing great! She is a whopping 10lbs, and such a happy baby. The smiling and the cooing is so much fun. She is sleeping amazingly at night - and even though it may have been a fluke, she slept through the night once! Woohoo! She only gets up 1-2 times a night anyway, so I can't complain.
She is doing great going back and forth from boob to bottle/formula. Back to work in 3 weeks, I can't believe how fast this time has flown by!
Mia did well for my friend while we were away last weekend, thank goodness! Nothing much new to report, thinking about starting sleep training here soon. I know I'm the bad, bad person who started her on falling asleep by rocking and now I have to break it because it is taking much longer. It's going to suck to hear her cry, but I know I must do this for everyone's well being.
I can't believe how big the little peanut's on the board are getting!!
Melis sleep training is awful! We never really had to do it per say, but now this new thing with the screaming at bedtime... Oh mannn it sucks. I've been reading about it and there is a very common 18 month regression stage and I think she's just getting it at 17 months. Everything I'm reading says not to start bad habits like keeping her up, skipping nap, unnecessary night nursing sessions, because this is a short phase and her sleep is still important and naps are still necessary and nighttime cuddles can be addictive, but it's too hard not to. She screams so hard her voice is hoarse during the day. So I'm pretty much going to live in the glider and hope my good sleeper comes back to me soon. Developmentally, I totally get why this is happening. She's just growing up so fast. Every day she becomes more like a big girl and less like a baby. It really is amazing. I'd probably be sad but I know I have one on the way so I'm ok with it because I'm going to need Amelia's help. But the nighttime screaming is her exercising her strong will for power and control. So for me handling it is a fine balance that would be so much easier if I could drink a glass of wine at night. Damn pregnancy rules.
Had follow-up appointment with pediatrician to check Shane's neck. Pedi is sending us to a physical therapist, and we have our first appointment a week from Wednesday.

Ugh, I can't believe her voice is hoarse from it! This is going to be rough. I feel for you, because I'm pretty sure I will be having a glass of wine at night while we do this!
I am exhausted ALL.THE.TIME! I wake up feeling awful and go to bed feeling the same way And I also have a headache that doesn't seem to go away. On the upside, Appetite is still okay. With DD2, I was sick for the entire pregnancy. So far, I have told my mom and my best friend. We're waiting to tell H's family when we see them in 3 weeks.

Ugh I feel for you. I hate the feeling, it's like someone drugged you. Hope it passes soon girly! I'm finally back to the land of the living. As long as I eat a few bites every 2 hours and no more.
Had my GD test last Thursday, have my Rhogam shot tomorrow. Yay for needles! I did pass my GD test and my hemoglobin has gone up, which is good. My hematocrit is down a bit, but nothing drastic. I'm 28w1d today, so officially 3rd tri. Yikes. I've also developed some pretty nasty heartburn this time around, which is really no fun. My throat hurts a lot and I'm just uncomfortable. My pregnancy with Q was so easy, this one has just not been.
Sunday and yesterday Peaches was moving around so much though, which was really awesome. He has definitely been moving, but not as much as Quinn did. Now he's making up for lost time!

Oh heartburn! What I clearly remember being the worst from my first. I had to take Prilosec and it worked pretty good. My Dr and Amelia's pedi all said it was safe. Yay for hemoglobin and no GD.

I feel for you! I had heartburn for 5.5 months. I do not miss it. My midwife suggested milk, raw almonds, and the best one that I tried was Papin, papaya enzyme. You can eat paypaya, if you can find it, but I bought the enzyme. It has to be refrigerated and had a funky smell/taste (so hold your nose when you do it.)
