My goal is 75 and I'm four books behind schedule. Whomp whomp.

My goal is 20, and I just finished #8 yesterday. Goodreads says I'm one book ahead of schedule.

I am behind schedule. Goal of 25, I've read 7 so far.

I'm at 53 of 113, which goodreads says is 10 books ahead of schedule. I usually slow down in the fall and holiday season, so the head start should work out well.

I'm only setting a goal of 24 this year I'm hoping to get to 30 anyway. I just finished number 8 last night. GoodReads says I'm one book behind. Trying to get two read this week before my trip this weekend.

I'm way behind. Reading has sort of sucked this year. I continue to blame the kindle and the loss of Borders. B&N just doesn't do it for me.

I set my goal at 48 books (or 4 a month), and so far I have read 25. Goodreads says I am 7 books ahead of schedule, so I feel pretty good about that. I won't change the goal but if I read more than 48, that will be good too.

I completely understand.  Borders and B&N carried different inventory.  I preferred Borders for browsing, but I think that was all to do with the lightness of the stores.  B&N stores cane be dark and heavy, with the dark wood shelves and dark carpeting.  I would always overspend at a Borders, but not so much at B&N.  

Amazon is great if you know exactly what you want or that you'll like a book, but I find it sucks big time for browsing to find something new and different.

I hope you can find a book-shopping outlet that makes it fun again.

My goal was 25, and I'm at 16, so I'm pretty far ahead. My unofficial goal has become 35.

I am doing well. 30/40 so far. I just started War and Peace, though. This number will not increase for a few weeks now, haha.

I don't have a goal this year, but LibraryThing says I've read 29 books so far this year. I haven't been getting as much reading done this year as I'd like. Other things (cooking, cleaning the house, running, etc.) seem to keep taking priority, which makes me sad.

I'm hoping to get a ton of reading done on vacation in a couple of weeks.

I'm a little behind. The Outlander series set me back a little. I have 38 more books to read to reach my goal of 55.

I'm on 17 out of 60 for the year. I think I'm something like 6 books behind.

I'm contemplating changing my goal. I just don't seem to have as much time for reading lately. I've also been reading longer books so it takes me awhile to finish them, too.

Ugh, I'm so behind. And my goal is only 10. I'm trying so hard to get back into reading for fun. I'm almost done with my second book. I read War Brides already and I'm working on The Hobbit right now. Haven't decided what to read next. We also got the Lord of the Rings books, but I have some WoW books (yes, I'm that big of a nerd) I haven't touched yet. I also got 50 Shades of Grey for my bachelorette party and thought about seeing what the big deal is, haha. I need to play some catchup now that I'm a little less busy!

I originally thought I'd get 75 in this year, though I don't have a hard and fast rule. I'll probably end up around 50.

I'm 5 behind schedule...on number 17 of 50. I hope to gain some ground in the next month or so with some fluffy poolside reads
