Umm...when did she stop being a baby and start being a toddler??
She is so cute!
I know! I sent the picture to H and he responded with how grown up she looks.
She is also saying "all done" "here I am!" and "where's Kathryn". The last two are not crystal clear, but it is obvious that it is what she is saying and she was repeating what I was saying to her while playing peek-a-boo.
Oh my gosh! Love it! I can't wait til I can do that. I think I could do a little pony on top of her head but he won't ever sit sill to let me. Party pooper.
C used to tolerate little barrettes, but with K all I can do is use the little hair ties. We usually do the one on top of her head, but I decided to see if I could get pigtails and it worked!
By this age, C also had way more hair, but then K is a dark blonde and C was always a brunette and lighter hair tends to take longer to grow in.
What kind of hair ties do you use? Does she cry when you are trying to put it up? I couldn't get it all gathered up and in a band quickly enough. It was slipping out, I was pulling.. lol. Disaster. I was also trying to use a comb. I can't wait to do two little poofy pigtails on the top of her head.
First, I use a boar hair bristle brush, it smooths out the hair nicely and makes it easier to gather up. Then I use those really small rubber hair ties. She doesn't cry and I don't think it hurts her. There are times she is just too squirmy, but overall she is pretty good about it.

What a little cutie! The first time I got pigtails in DD's hair was thanks to her hair sticking straight up from rolling around on the couch. I remember being so excited.
