The crescent shaped doughnuts, they are glazed and flaky and awesome.
What are they called?
(I read an article on yahoo how they've come up with this awesome new "cronut" that is a cross between a croissant and a doughnut, but it made me think of the ones without a name because that is pretty much what it is already.)
I've been lurking for a while and it always feels like so much pressure to do a first post. But donuts seem like a good reason to come out of hiding. Do you mean a bear claw?
Also an interesting fact: if you google image search "crescent shaped donut" you get pictures of naked breasts. I guess both crescent an donut are types of breast lifts you can have done.
They are pretty good. I was in Canada once and asked for a cruller- meaning one like we have in the US. They gave me a french cruller and I was so dissapointed. (wilted)
Well, my 14 year old self was. But only because my mouth was watering for a chocolate american style cruller and I was still hungry but didn't have time to eat anything else.
I cannot find a picture of it because I don't know the name. haha. I know my Dad always got them when he got doughnuts. They are hallow inside but they are pretty big. And delicious.
I have to go to the bank today and the grocery store is right next door, I might stop and get doughnuts. I'll see if I can find it and take a picture. And I'm sure it'll have the name. IF they have them.
