Speaking of hair growth...my belly is getting hairier. Thankfully its just the blonde hairs like the ones on my arms and legs, but still. Also, I'm definitely getting that linea nigra thing down the middle of my belly.
Junior barely stopped moving during Star Trek last night. I blame my coke slushie. Oops. Good thing it was delicious!

Interesting. When I shaved my legs the other day I noticed my legs were not as gross as they usually get after a week of no shaving. Can this happen forever please??
Also, I went to the French bakery near me for lunch, got a $10 sandwich to go and it came with pasta salad when I asked for chips and with horseradish sauce when I asked for it without. Just not the same.
I hate when people mess up food orders on take away, because I usually don't notice til I'm home, and then I refuse to go back out to get it fixed. It ruins my meal man! lol
Let's see...today I'm getting our new sofa delivered! HUZZAAAHHHH! Maybe I will PIP when the delivery boys go away and I have it set up to my satisfaction.
I'm off to buy baby gifts for my two girlfriends who recently announced their pregnancies.
And all of the women on this board need to stop discussing fetal movement because now I'm paranoid!!! waahhhh I was doing FIIIINE.

Ditto the leg hair! It's been so nice.
I'm one month from my due date. Eek! I'm going to pack my hospital bag this week. We're also going to swaddling and diapering for dummies at the hospital tonight. I can't believe it's getting so close.
I have no idea when the linea nigra is supposed to show up, just that mine is definitely there after a few weeks of wondering "Is that what I think it is?".
Velar Fricative, mine hasn't popped out yet either. It's definitely more shallow, and when Junior is pushing out more around my belly button it feels like its going to turn inside out...but definitely hasn't yet.
tulips, that is adorable! The closer we get to our A/S, the more obsessed I am with ridiculous old wives' tales and other baby sex prediction nonsense. I can't wait until we find out on Thursday.
My leg hair growth has slowed almost to a halt too! But I noticed my belly is getting hairier
I think I figured out how to sleep better: I wait until I'm about to fall asleep sitting up then I go to bed. The past couple of nights I have slept solidly until my alarm went off. I know this isn't going to last but I've been SO tired.

All about my body hair and belly:
-My leg hair definitely grows more slowly. I shave like once a week these days. -I got the linea negra in early second-tri. It's faint, but definitely there. I also have a straight, invisible horizontal dividing line across the top of my belly. Below the divide, my skin is redder. Weird. -My belly has more blonde hair, too. -My belly button has completely popped out. It happened gradually, but it's been out for about 2 weeks. You can see it when I wear thin shirts.
I have heartburn today for the first time. I feel lucky that it held off so long, but I am not enjoying it.
Also, despite all the yogurt I ate to try and prevent this, I managed to get a yeast infection from an antibiotic I was taking for a toe infection. Gross on all parts! And the antibiotic didn't even clear up my infection, so I had to get it cut out yesterday, which was also gross. (Sorry, this post is so gross!)
My belly button never popped out, it stuck out a little but never an outie. I got the line down my belly after 30 weeks ad thought I was lucky with no stretch marks until last two weeks when she droppe and the area below my bellow button is zebra stripes!!! My leg hair def slowed and still hasn't picked up pace but I attribute that to shaving less so it slowed its growth.

You know, we're Team Green but I'm already kinda driving myself nuts with the OWTs. Every one of them points to boy. And my hunch from the beginning was boy. So I don't know why the hell I just didn't get confirmation lol.

Being a newbie, I'm at a the "honeymoon stage" of first trimester joy with only minor fatigue and much bigger ta-tas. DH wants to find a way to make it permanent.

Ditto to the belly hair. Very annoying, as some of the hairs are already darker.
I bought one of those supportive belly bands yesterday and it makes a million percent difference to my back and hips. Love it!
I've eaten half a bag of cantuccini so far (after dinner) because I miss Italy so much!
At lunch I sat at a table with a bunch of women co-workers and for some reason they started discussing L&D and some of the stories were just hilarious. One girl at our table was really young (still living withher parents, no boyfriend etc) and she was mortified. It was super fun :-)

17ish weeks to go!
I also think boy, but have heard so many stories of people being so sure they were having one and being surprised with the opposite. I admire you for being Team Green - I'm too impatient to make it to Thursday; I could never make it to delivery!

Our house is officially on the market and I need it to sell. Like, now.
My OB actually told me at my appointment yesterday, "Enjoy the next three weeks--third trimester in the middle of summer is going to be ROUGH". Hey, thanks, Doc! lol
My grandparents live in the country and grow all kinds of yummy fruits and veggies and raise chickens--this week they gave me a ton of eggs and some amazing strawberries. I can't wait to move back to the country so I can have my own garden.
When I was at the doctor's office I witnessed the most awkward conversation. A woman walked in requesting her annual appointment, but then proceeded to ask what happens if she is pregnant and doesn't want to keep the baby. The receptionist asked if she was pregnant now and she replied she didn't know. The receptionist then explained she would have to take a pregnancy test then call to schedule an appointment. The woman still didn't get it. She thought she had to wait for her annual check up to see the doctor. The receptionist for the third time told her to take a test then call and she'd get an appointment sooner to discuss her options. The woman finally seemed satisfied and then left. Sooo...... bizarre.
Heard back from the mechanic about my car and he is willing to fix it super cheap with a used part. Trading it in as soon as we get it back!!! I plan on getting a Rogue.
My coworker brought me some baby stuff today- a bathtub, all her bath robes (she had a lot!), a bumbo seat, a mesh breathable bumper pad, high chair cover, uv screen for infant seat, and a tummy time mat! I am so excited to get some hand me downs already! She has Neices and a daughter so if we have a girl, we'll get clothes too!!!
It feels weird to have stuff already at 10 weeks.
Next appt is Thursday - first time we will hear the heartbeat! I'm really excited H will be going with me!
Ok and last, our house is flipping hot. I have the ac set to 71 but upstairs is really freaking warm. I don't know what to do! I guess I have to turn the air lower but 71 should be good enough. MIL is sure we need more insulation in the attic, but our inspector said there was lots. And it makes sense because heat rises, and it's getting trapped. It certainly doesn't lower into our roof and second story, right!?!?
I have a rogue (2010) and I HATE it! I've gone through three transmissions already. When it broke, I would push the accelerator, and nothing would happen. It was scary when I was trying to pull into traffic and I just kinda sat there with cars coming at me.

I have seen something similar to this!
It was also a case of the receptionist repeating herself over and over and over. The girl was sobbing though, and the receptionist was very sweetly trying to tell her she needed to make an appointment and couldn't just show up for something like this (terminating a pregnancy)...the girl seemed to have already tested and so she knew she was pregnant, but definitely didn't want the pregnancy. It was so sad/uncomfortable.
@callmefia - I have a Nissan Versa. I've had it for four years and never had any issues. I take it for all its scheduled maintenance and have a warranty on it that if the transmission goes, etc. it's replaced for my co-pay which is $50. DH also had a Nissan Maxima when we met and that car didn't want to die. I also like Japanese cars b/c they are much easier/cheaper to fix.
Thanks for good news vmars We went to the auto show so I was able to narrow down which handful of cars I liked the most. I love the rogues, and they are fairly popular in the area. I actually really wanted one when I got this last car in 2009, but I really couldn't swing it then.
I like rogues too...they are slightly bigger than my Versa and not as big as a Merano. If I decided to get a bigger car I'd def. check them out.

@callmefia- I loved it when I first got it. It drives amazingly (crappy gas mileage... 17/23?) I think I have a lemon, but because the third transmission hasn't gone, it doesn't qualify under any lemon law. It has to do with the CVT and how it relates to the computer in the car.
I love Subaru and would definitely go with a Subaru over Nissan.
My belly button hasn't popped and I don't have stretch marks but every time I get smug about a lack of pregnancy symptom, I get it harder and worse than I ever dreamed or wanted, so I'm preparing myself.
I've always been pretty hairy, and it is just worse in pregnancy. I have to shave my legs every day/every other day, especially since its been 85+ every day this week.
