I'm doing pretty well. I'm a little over a week into weaning off of budesonide. I've noticed a little difference. Yesterday was the first day I've had pain in a long time, but I'm hoping it was just a bad food choice (peanut butter). I've eaten two salads this week with no problem, which is great. Sunday, I wean down another step. I'm hoping to be able to avoid the 6mp/Imuran step for awhile.

Good morning, I'm glad you've been pain-free for a while aside from yesterday. I hope it continues to improve! How many weeks do you have to go before you are off the budesonide?
I'm feeling good this week and have even found the energy to workout 2 days in a row, so that's definitely a good thing. I am really trying to get off the extra pounds that prednisone gifted me with and it's so hard trying to stay motivated!
I have my IV infusion on Friday, I am on an 8 week schedule. So far the 8 weeks feels okay and I don't seem to be having any bad symptoms between treatments, so by the fall I might be able to request lengthening it to every 10 weeks and see how that goes.
I'm doing pretty good. noticing increased hair loss with the imuran, but my liver enzyme went back into the normal range. My doctor still hasn't called me to talk about our new treatment plan since insurance refused remicade. I hate her. I don't just want to switch practices, but I want to talk to her boss.
I've been able to work out 4x a week and I'm building strength/lifting heavier weights. so yay for that.

I'm new to this board, but hi! I have been stable for about 2 years now, knock on wood. I have good days and bad days (today was a bad day, unfortunately!). I can trace most of my bad days back to eating too much fiber or messing up my sleep schedule.
tacom - my liver enzymes were elevated when I started taking 6MP (basically the same thing as Imuran). After a few months, they went back to normal and have been normal ever since. Hope they stay normal for you too! And I hope you figure out a way to get Remicade.
