My cousin is baptizing his baby at the end of this month. I never received an invite. I asked my mom & she got hers. I was thinking maybe they thought it would be too much for us with the new baby, but the church isn't too far away & the party is at my aunt's house who lives 5 minutes away. My cousin came over to meet Dominic this weekend & was talking about the baptism while they were here, which made me think I was supposed to be invited. His wife mentioned that not too many people rsvp'd. I was going to mention it then, but didn't want to put them on the spot if I wasn't invited for some reason. WWYD?
Weird. I'm kind of a get it out on the table kind of girl do I can move on, otherwise I dwell and that sucks. But that can be awkward for the other person so listen to everybody else before me:)
It sounds like the cousin is relatively close if she's coming to visit in the first week or so of Dominic's life. I'd probably say something - my guess is they thought it might be too much.

I would say something. One of my girl friends never got the invite for my shower. A couple days before, she asked if it was still the same day. I would have had no idea if she didn't say anything and felt terrible.

I would ask. Chances are, if she was talking to you about it you were invited. Maybe she was drop Ing a hint for an RSVP by mentioning a lot of people haven't, and doesn't realize that you didn't get the invite.
