If you have a dog walker or take your dog to doggy day care

How often does your dog get walked by the dog walker? How long is each session? Or if you take your dog to doggy day care how often does your dog go?

We had a walker before DH was laid off. The walker came 5 days a week and each walk was about 25-30 minutes.

We started by sending our dog to daycare three days a week, he really needed it and so did we to keep our sanity (this dog ate/chewed everything!) When he turned about a year old we cut back to twice a week, and recently at 1 1/2 years old we have stopped completely, at least for the summer. If we have a very busy week without a lot of time to walk him etc i'll drop him off for a 2 hour playgroup that the daycare offers to get the excess energy out. Otherwise we plan on keeping him out, at least for the summer. It helps that in nice weather I can walk him to work and then walk him home, so a lot of days he gets two pretty long walks. We'll see what happens when the cold weather comes, but for financial reasons we'd like to be done completely!

Our youngest goes whenever both J abs I have to work. Do about 2 times a week. Sometimes it's more

Pasco goes to daycare once a week. He gets morning walks from my husband then is in his crate for 8-10 hours the other days and lots of playtime after work.

My dog goes to daycare once a week. During the winter we did twice a week and will probably do twice a week this winter as well.

This is the same for us, but my mil also comes by 1-2 times a week and brings him to her house for 2-3 hrs before dh can pick him up.
