When Friend has chronic TIP

Have any of you had a friend that, in almost every relationship there are problems, you sheepishly side with her SO in your mind?

I need more information, but yes I have had friends where the issue in their relationships was THEM or at least they contributed to it.

I'll get calls a lot, or when we talk in person, bff talks about a particular arguement or issue where IMO she acted unreasonably. She chronically makes the same mistakes, acts out the same patterns in every relationship. Doesn't give herself enough time between breakups etc. She was flipping a shit about how her live in boyfriend wanted to buy a metal bedframe instead of a wooden one like she wanted and called him an idiot. Its stuff like this that makes me facepalm

I have no friends like this because I have no ability to keep my mouth shut. I inevitably tell them it is all their fault and they are mean and have poor life skills. Tada!

I've had times where I've told a friend they were wrong in a situation with their significant other. I've never had a friend where is was a chronic sort of thing. Probably because such a person would annoy the shit out of me.

Haha, there are redeeming qualities as far as our friendship is concerned. I mean, I'm pretty blunt about not letting her indulge in this "well he's just a terrible person because X, Y, or Z" type of thinking. I'll try to explain how both people have valid points, etc. But in my mind I'm always feel bad for her SO's.
