I have a door that I love. it's a 15 pane wood (interior) french door. It's in perfect condition. My problem is that there's only one door in my house that it fits on an that's the door to my "library." In that hallway, there are 4 doors... one to the family room, one to the library, a bathroom and the door into the garage. all doors are white. I want to use this door and am wondering how dumb it would look to put it as the library door. I'd paint the hallway side white and leave the other side the dark wood which fits the library look.
I don't really ahve a place to use the door as a picture frame or headboard or anything like that. the second pic is a terrible photo of the hallway, it would be the second door on the right. When you go into the library, there's almost like a small alcove and then you have to turn left to get into the room so you wouldn't see a wall of books through the door. You'd see a wall with some literary prints on it. here's a shot that kind of shows that from before the room was complete.
