K normally teaches a summer program but we decided she wouldn't take it this summer so we could spend the summer enjoying our time as three and so that she wouldn't be working when the baby comes in August. She is a total beach bum. We have a few trips scheduled (to Ptown, Ogunquit ME, etc) and joined a great new pool club. I am making her a 'congratulations it's summer vacation!' gift and I'm stuck on what else to add. So far I have:
Three books A pair of flip flops an extra large beach towel a Nalgene Sunscreen
What else can I give her that screams summer/relaxation? I want to make it an annual thing so I don't want to go too overboard but I feel like 1 or 2 more things (20.00 and under) would round it out nicely. I don't want to add snacks, I'll just eat them. Thoughts?
Aloe Vera, Nail Polish, Sun Hat, Hair/Skin recovery product from the sun and water, Journal & Pen, Lip Balm with Sun Screen, Magazine Subscription- then she gets something new every month sometimes you can get short subscriptions so when the school year picks up it's not wasted, disposable face cloths or cooling mist quick clean up after a day in the sun?
