I need to start couch to 5k this week. I just signed up for a 5k with my parents. It's at my college and the money goes to the scholarship fund. Damn family pressure! Hold me, tell me it'll be okay. I'm one of those "if you see me running call 911" types. My mom runs half marathons for fun, and 3 miles every morning.

Good luck, it took me awhile to get into it, but it has changed my life. Don't worry about going fast, get into your breathing and after the first five minutes you may find yourself really enjoying it. The runners high is real.
2 weeks! Yeah, c25k is not going to help you much. lol. Maybe do week 4 and week 5 to help you build up? If you can do week 5, day 3, I suspect you will be just fine.

Don't be ashamed to walk.
Muddled, my parents have agreed to walk. Not stroll, but walk. So even weeks 1 & 2 will probably help, since I don't exercise at all right now.
