I decided to try the new Aveda shampoo for thinner hair, and ordered it two weeks ago. I guess Aveda forgot to fill the order, because when I finally received confirmation that it had shipped, it was shipped with overnight delivery for first thing in the morning (even though they shipped it out this past Friday, the new ship date said it would be here yesterday).
Okay, no problem. Got home from work yesterday expecting to see it - not at the house. Log in to check where it was, and it says that it was now on its way to another city over 200 miles from here. The information below THAT said "attempted delivery, receiver has moved, new address provided". Wth?
I called UPS and apparently Aveda couldn't find my new address (even though it was my billing AND shipping address, even according to the online receipt). So they shipped it to my old address that was still in the system for old deliveries. The UPS guy tried to deliver it to my old house, but the people that bought it told them I had moved and then gave them some fake address in a city I've never ever been to.
Grrr...I had to fight with UPS to intercept the package, and now it won't be delivered until Wednesday.
I've never had an issue like this before, but I'm even more stumped why the people at my old house told them I now lived in another city so far away. They knew nothing about me, but they gave UPS an actual address.
My Express sale order is being sent to my old house. Two houses ago, I told them right away but they said they can't do anything until the order doesn't show up. Lovely, the stuff was on clearance, won't be able to get the again, especially in a week when they go there.
