Bunheads-Did anyone else watch?

I don't watch any of the other ABC Family original shows, but thought I would give this one a try because I love Gilmore Girls. I can see a lot of similarities. I really like Amy Sherman-Palladino's writing and quick witted characters. She seems to like small towns (too bad they are never that fun in real life ). I have high hopes for this show. Three actresses that were on Gilmore are on this show. I wonder if we will see any other familiar faces as the show continues. I can't wait for the next episode.

I couldn't get past the name, but now I'm sad I didn't watch it as I've heard from at least 5 people today how good it was.

Loved it. HATE the name, it annoys me for whatever reason. But definitely flashback to Gilmore Girls with the witty writing.

Terrible title. Good first episode. I'll keep watching, but I will probably keep referring to it as "that show about dancers from the Gilmore Girls lady" because I hate the name of it so badly.

I watched it online yesterday because of a post on proboards and loved it. I doubt I'll remember to watch it at home, but I hope to keep up with it if they post all the episodes online. I hated the way it ended.

I thought it was trying too hard to be like Gilmore Girls goes west coast. I want to like it but the pilot did not make me excited to see more. Sad.

I am a HUGE fan of Sutton Foster and have seen her in a couple of shows on Broadway, so I tuned in for her, and I really liked it! I also love the actress who plays her MIL...she had a recurring role on SVU, and I always liked her character.

I did! I think it has the makings of a good, fun show, in spite of the ending of the first episode and the topic of the second episode. I will keep watching!

I wasn't a huge fan of the first episode but the 2nd left me wanting to watch the 3rd.

I love Sutton foster as well. I missed the 1st episode and watched the 2nd...i was a little disappointed, because I wanted to see more dancing. I do not know if I'll become attached or not, but will try another episode.

I WANT to like Sutton Foster, I'm working really hard at it. I don't dislike her, I'm just really distracted by her.... is posture the right word? She's just so hunch-y lol. And Emily Gilmore as a leotard-wearing hippie... Mitchum as a long-haired bartender... I'm so distracted! In a good way. I think.
I'm going to keep watching and hope they stay on the air, and hope they become their own thing and Emily becomes Fanny to me lol. I'm hoping one day these early episodes will be as haha nostalgic as the early Gilmore Girls episodes where Kirk has a different name.

I liked it. It felt like a little bit too close to Gilmore Girls but I loved Gilmore Girls so I'll go with it. I also didn't notice Kirk. Who was he?

Kirk on Gilmore Girls was actually Mick in the first episode he was in. A few episodes later he was Kirk (kind of like how Sherilyn Fenn was Jess's dad's girlfriend and later was Anna).

Thank you! I knew I recognized the bartender but couldn't figure out why. Can't believe that was Mitchum! LOL.

And yes I'm with all of you...hate the name, but I like the show. And the second episode made me a little teary eyed!

For some reason I'm really distracted by her nose. I just want to yell at the tv "no! No profile shots!"

I think I like the show though, i'll have to see where it goes though.
