We decided on Frontline Plus for our flea/tick medicine. If it ends up not being strong enough we'll switch to K9 Advantix. I wanted something that would help with mosquito's too, but ultimately didn't want something so harsh.

I apply Frontline Plus once in the spring and again in September or so, but use natural oils the rest of the summer - neem or Ark Naturals's Flea Flicker and Tick Kicker.

Bucks Mountain Parasite Dust. Works great. No chemicals.

I'm too paranoid (or have PTSD from our last flea infestation 10 years ago) to try natural preventatives, so we use K9 Advantix II.

DE, nematodes, neem oil, and cedar spray.

I avoid chemicals whenever possible.

We just switched to Revolution. Dav was previously on Trifexis until I read all the issues with it.
