Has anyone tried using castor oil to grow lashes and brows? I was watching Pixiwoo (sp?) on Youtube when she was getting the HD brows and the girls said castor oil helps hair growth. I had a full bottle since trying to jump start labor, so I used it the past 2 nights, so no difference yet.
Its not dangerous. Lots of makeup and skin care products have castor oil in them such as lipstick, shampoo, soap, and others.
I know that it is an ingredient in a lot of products, but I mean the pure form of it, not mixed into other things. I wouldn't put lipstick or shampoo in my eye either, lol
OP, I would check with a derm or eye doctor first.

It's just oil. It doesn't stimulate hair growth. It lubricates skin and hair. Nothing magical about it. There are products for this that are both clinically proven and safe.

Actually it has a number of properties that help with the health of hair and therefore helps stimulate hair growth. This is a natural alternative to the other products out.

One danger of using castor oil in the oil cleansing method is that it can stimulate hair growth. If that translates to eye lash growth too, it might work!
