i'm copying and pasting my response on the politics board:
bob is super random and creepy.
i enjoyed the scenes with betty and don as well. although i don't condone cheating, i think their indiscretion was cathartic for them, especially betty.
i'm glad blonde, svelte betty is back
LOL @ peggy stabbing her boyfriend. glad that relationship is over.
poor peggy got played...ted was like, um, sorry to hear about your break up with hippy/activist dude. carry on now.

also, poor roger. he means well.
I get the feeling that she was getting played by Abe, too. He keeps talking about the article he is writing and it gives me the vibe that he was using her to do research into the advertising world in order to write a negative article.
peggy is like a lot of women i work with...book smart, but street dumb. you know those people who earned great grades in school and have successful careers, but for whatever reason, they can't establish/maintain positive, long-term romantic relationships.
Elisabeth Moss was on WWHL with Andy Cohen last week and he asked her how she thinks Peggy is going to end up in life. She said she'll probably be a very successful businesswoman, but not successful in love. I think that's pretty spot on and indicative of the time- you couldn't "have it all."

I don't what is going on with this Bob Benson guy. I think he is just eager to climb the corporate ladder but no one seems interested in him so he's trying to buddy up to Joan. I get the feeling he's just trying to hang around to get some dirt on someone he can use to his advantage.
I don't think Abe was necessarily playing Peggy. I think they did have real connection at first, but they are just in very different places and I knew it would only be a matter of time before they broke up. Although since they are no longer together I wouldn't be surprised if Abe was extra harsh in his article. I liked how at the end after she told Ted she broke up with Abe and he didn't give her the response I think she was expecting they showed Peggy in between Ted and Don's office. Clearly, she has been trying to imagine Ted as being so different from Don but actually there more similar than she thought.
I thought Don and Betty hooking up was interesting. Although I was kind of creeped out by Betty's husband when they were in the limo and he got really turned on when Betty told him about the other guy hitting on her. I hope they are not trying to set up for them to begin some swinger lifestyle or something.
I'm kind of hoping that Megan finds out about the affair Don and the neighbor lady were having. I wonder if Megan will have an affair with that lady that kissed her if she does find out about Don's affair.
I was excited to see Don and Betty together. I enjoyed their conversation. I don't feel like we ever saw a conversation that showed actual love for each other when they were married. I would be tickled pink if they continued the affair or actually got back together. I hated their split.

Don wants what he can't have. They wouldn't last 2 days back together
Ditto all of the above. If Peggy's BF is gone, no more stair poop.
