Instead of sticking to straight c25k, I've been running just with music. I know I push myself more with listening to the podcasts, but I really like my own music. There are apps I've downloaded on my phone that can stream pandora in the background, but my phone is so effing huge. I'd need to find a contraption for it that will hook on to my pants or something.
I've been biking and doing floor exercises at home as well, so have been using some kind of activity 4-5 times a week. It's been really good.
I don't know how you guys can stick with a program when you have kids. Major kudos.

This is my main issue right now. I have the shoes, I'm pretty much ready, but DS always wants to walk with me. I'm all for his participation, but I walk much slower, and no jogging, when he tags along...
I walked lots last weekend, but since we've been back, I haven't taken the time for it. Tuesday night was spent washing ALL the laundry from camping so my house could stop smelling, and last night was class. Tonight might be a good night for it though. If it's not pouring, I'll do it for sure.

I agree with gault. You guys who have kids and do this are awesome!!
My exercising has been really good. I exercised 6 days last week and ran 2 miles without stoppinng. On target to work out 6 days again this week.
I got my period this week so my eating got derailed just a bit. Stupid PMS. I have my retest at the gym tonight where they check my measurements and body fat %. I'm REALLY hoping for good numbers.
As for kids and exercising, I exercise after the kid goes to bed. I give kudos to those people who wake up at the crack of dawn to exercise. ::shudder::

That's very true, ps.
Personally, I'd rather get up early to do it that wait until after DS goes to bed. I love that early morning endorphin rush. But H leaves for work at 6:30, so I'd have to get up at least a half hour prior if I'm going to do anything. I like sleep. I'm sure if I just got up and did it, I'd get into a routine and it would be NBD. I just have to heave myself out of bed that first time...
On the plus side I'm less likely to care first thing in the morning if my hair makes me look like a frizz ease model.
I did my hot run w/ the police. It actually wasn't too bad because we were moving at a comfortable pace and there was a bit of a breeze. I had a lot of fun!

Uh, I hadn't thought about it! I didn't realize it was a good place to get jewelry. So yeah, send along a rec, pleaseandthankyou!
Ummm... Booking a trip is way easier than running any amount of time. I could book a trip daily if I had unlimited funds.
That being said, I was a little crazy yesterday. The hottest day of the year (until today) and I decide to garden for 5 hours and then go out for a little run. I think my face just now returned to normal from beet. Thank goodness it was just the heat and not a burn!
